Haha. Friday. Perfect day for Founder's day, after all there was no school the next day so it could be fully enjoyed =)
So after school I went with Ken and YE to Jarrell's house. Played Revenge of the Sith. Quite cool. My first time playing but i kept beating Jarrell ._.
Then we went to school, reached there about 15mins early. Saw Mrs Nazima and after she greeted us she immediately asked where our ties were >< Formal Occasion after all. Must treat it with Respect and Propriety. I'd brought my tie but I decided not to wear it in the end :p too hot x)
RGS girls came in one whole group, when I saw someone I was so startled I stepped backwards and stepped on someone, Ken or Jarrell. Ouch.
We lined up and sat down in hall, and guess what! Auntie Maureen started off with a hymn (gosh)wow(gosh) and her singing was erm no worse than before =)
Then the usual speeches by the guest-of-honour and so on... then prize presentation. I was standing behind Aly! =) Yah then we went up to get the prizes... someone totally avoided looking at me the two times she came back down from the stage. Bleh why am I sidetracking >< Back to more... important things.
The prize for 260 and above is um a trophy of a hand holding a globe.(the earth?) and the prize for four
A stars is a trophy in the shape of a star! x)
Then Swee Kiat dropped his Star and it fell off ._. We made a scandalous discovery ;p the star was stuck on with blu tac! >< (so cheapskate)
Then came the reception. Amazingly the food was rather nice =) There were flowers put on the tables! So convenient. Aly took a flower =) then she asked Ian to help her hold her flower, which he did. So unsuspecting of him x) So when he gave it back to Aly she said that technically he had given a flower to her ._.
There were helium balloonies floating on the ceiling! Me and YE each took one and we gave them to Eunice :D for a birthday prezzie. For some reason all the girls were cheering. =/
Then Erik was standing there looking so sad! So I took a light blue balloonie (it was the last one, I had to jump over a table to get it ;p) and gave it to her.
She looked so surprised x) and she said 'oh men! thank you' and she turned her face away, couldnt see her expression :(
So I was turning away when she suddenly took a flower from the table and gave it to me ><
My reply? 'oh. thank you.' I was so surprised! But pleasantly surprised :D but also embarassed... :$ :$ :$
Then the boys went off to play soccer, so I went to join. So fun! Brings back memories =D Then Erika was standing outside the fence and sort of watching. Most of the time her back was turned to us though :(
LiYoung was showing off as usual! =) He did one of his pro bicycle kicks and gosh oh my he landed on the floor, again as usual ._.
Erika left at about 6.45. I waved goodbye x)
At 7pm the security guard came to chase us out :(
So we left the school, and I took the bus home alone :( Ernest was getting fetched by his parents and Jarrell wasn't taking the bus. LY and Ken went to take 291...
All alone ><
But still a happy day. I got my flower after all =D
