The fear of being turned away has been left to itself so long that it has become binding. ><
CNY dinner for old folks was interesting! I doubled up as two waiters, cos there weren't enough people. I spilled a bit of shark's fin soup once though. ):
The herbal chicken was super soft! I was able to cut and divide the whole thing, bones and all, just by poking it gently with a spoon.
I was serving the EXCO table, with mostly teachers. Strange conversation between teachers:
Miss Alicia Goh: Zheng Yi is a very good boy!
Mr Tan Weng Seng: I know, I taught him last year (:
Miss Goh: I started teaching him this year and i'm already very impressed.
Haha, ego boost.
But sadly, they're wrong ):
Wayne wasn't the 财神爷 after all. It was Mr Law (: who was also at the EXCO table before that, haha.
Teachers have very small appetites >_< from the third course onwards, they started leaving from 1/3 to 1/2 of each course left uneaten. Ahhh waste nice food.
Being a waiter was quite interesting (:
I wonder if you received it! But I should just ask...
