I'm back from Tioman! (: And I am completely unsunburnt! Guowei and Jarrell got sunburnt >.> one on the hands and the other on the face. Guess who was burned where :P
First day woke up super early and hitched a ride with Jarrell to school. Then got on the bus and started the super-long bus ride to the jetty =/ I sat with GuoWei! Shared dark chocolate with him. Yummy (: And that doesnt count as a sweet thing, its bitter. So I still dont eat sweet things =/
Reached there, unpacked, lunchtime! Started making the organisers regret that they only charged me $400 for the whole trip (: Buffet. Mwahahah.
After lunch, trek into the rainforest. There was a lot of fertiliser around, but with my amazing navigational skills i managed to avoid all the landmines =/ And we went wading through the river! So cooold (this means nice) and we saw water monitors!
After that, we had a snorkelling lesson. Went into the sea and discovered that Tioman water is 99% made out of salt >_<
Bleargh.
Second day, um, um, i forgot what we did. Argh only two days ago le. Senility. In the afternoon we went to Pulau Tulai to snorkel around the coral reefs (: The current was STRONG argharghargh could barely swim without getting saltwater into my mask >< And I did. Many times. Got stung by jellyfish three times ._.
Then on the ride home... the tide was high and the waves were very strong and the boat was like rocking up and down and the spray was splashing meee (: it was SO exhilarating...then at that moment I started wishing my special friend was there with me to share that moment. But not there. I got a little sad after that.
Why do I sound so depressed.
In the night we went to the rainforest again! Different things come out in the night (: like snakes. We found a total of... three small snakes and a superlarge python ><
Third day! Went to a turtle reserve. This guy there set up a turtle sanctuary all by himself because the locals were hunting and digging up turtle eggs every day and selling them in the market for 1 ringgit each >< So he would pay them double if they brought the eggs immediately to him. There he would take care of them and hatch them himselves =/ And then release them back into the sea.
Um, after that, we went home. Ending a bit short, i'll edit later :P
